History For Hot Chocolate m&m
M&M’s (stylized as m&m’s) are multi-colored button-shaped chocolates with the letter “m” printed in lower case in white on one side and a filling that varies based on the variety of M&M’s.
M&M’s were first sold in the United States in 1941, and they have since been distributed in over 100 countries.
They come in a variety of hues, some of which have altered over time.
The idea for candy-coated chocolate came from a tactic employed by soldiers in the Spanish Civil War (1936–1939)[3] to keep chocolate from melting in hot weather.
