The Southern cook’s well-known Southern Fried Chicken will be served by Paula Deen’s Home Kitchen.
At their hometown in Savannah, Georgia, Deen established her initial culinary company, a lunch delivery service, in 1989. In 1996, she opened The Lady & Sons in Savannah’s downtown district.
Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen began in Pigeon Forge in 2015 and has since expanded to include restaurants in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Branson, Missouri; and Foley, Alabama.

- 8 (5 to 6 oz) skin removed catfish, skin fillets
- 1 Crab boil seasoning
- Baking & Spices
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 1 Salt
Instructions for Fried Catfish Recipe Paula Deen
- Preheat the oil in a deep pan or a frying pan to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Rub each side of catfish with salt and crab boil seasoning. Combine the flour and cornmeal in a separate basin.
- Put the catfish in the fryer after dredging it in the flour mixture. Cook for 7 to 8 minutes in a deep fryer until cooked. Using paper towels absorb any excess liquid.
