History for Roy’s Hawaiian Martini
This cocktail was inspired by Roys restaurant on Honolulu’s Waikiki Beach.
It’s a straightforward cocktail with few components. It’s light and easy to drink, but it’s also deadly.
In restaurants this is created many at one time, using a ratio of 4 bottles of vodka to 1 bottle of Malibu.
Ingredients for Roy’s Hawaiian Martini
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1 ounce Malibu Rum
- 1/2 ounce Stoli Vanil Vodka
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
Instructions for Roy’s Hawaiian Martini
- In an ice-filled shaker, combine all of the ingredients.
- Shake well before straining into a glass.
- Serve with a pineapple slice as a garnish.
My tip: Making more than one at a time is easier. Increase the number of drinks you want to make by multiplying the recipe by the number of drinks you want to make. Keep in an airtight container.
When you’re ready to serve, run one or two drinks through the ice-filled shaker at a time. For gatherings, we have Flow-N-Stow containers that are perfect!
